2015 World 10-Ball Championship: 3 Cebuanos enter Knockout stages

Thirty-Two players qualified for the money round after Day 2 and 16 of those are from the host country Philippines.  Among the 16 are 3 Cebuano bets who are expected to go deep into the knockout stages. Cebuano rising star Anton Raga had a dominant 9-5 win over Wang Chan of China. Warren Kiamco had an equally impressive win over Jani Seikkinin of Finland. Veteran Antonio Gabica managed to edge Poland’s Karol Skowerski with a thrilling 9-8 victory. Boots Augusto was not as fortunate as his fellow Cebuanos as he got eliminated from the tournament after losing to David Alcaide of Spain.

The winner of the 2015 MP Cup World 10-ball Championship will received $40,000 while the runner-up will take home $20,000.
