Another weather disturbance has entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) after Bagyong Glenda which battered Luzon a few days ago. Tropical Storm Henry (International code: Henry) is tracked in the Philippine Sea and as of 8 am, PAGASA locates Bagyong Henry around 880 km East of Guiuan, Eastern Samar. The tropical storm is moving slowly at 7 kph in a NNW direction. Currently, Henry has maximum sustained winds of 65 kph.
The typhoon is expected to intensify in the next few days but based on the current projections, Bagyong Henry will not make landfall in any part of the Philippines. PAGASA has not raised any storm signals yet but rains are expected in the eastern part of the country. Bigger waves are also expected in the eastern seaboard of the Philippines especially in the eastern part of Mindanao and the Visayas.
