Cebu City among New7Wonders top picks

Cebu has made the shortlist of the New7Wonders Cities.  The list is made of 77 cities right now and it will trimmed down to 28 by a panel of experts.  Among the 28, 7 cities will be chosen by voting starting on October 21, 2013.  Iloilo City and Vigan in Ilocos also made it to the shortlist.

Based on its official website: “The Swiss-based New7Wonders Foundation was established in 2001 by the Swiss-born Canadian filmmaker, author and adventurer Bernard Weber to contribute to the protection of the world‚s human-built and natural heritage and to foster respect for our planet’s diversity.”
