Liloan bagged the grand prize of this year’s pasigarbo as the town’s contingent beat 30 other towns in the ritual showdown. The victory netted the town that is headed by Mayor Duke Frasco 1.2 million pesos. Liloan got another 100,000 for having the best jingle. Last year’s grand winner Car-Car City raked 1.390 million in the 2012 Pasigarbo competitions after placing second in 3 categories and 5th in Andas. Bantayan also had a big haul of 1.4 million after winning the street dance competition, best in costume, decorated audio van, and andas. The winning towns were awarded last August 13 at the CICC by Governor Gwendolyn Garcia.
