Lapu-Lapu Citywill host its first major professional boxing card in Pinoy Pride 7, a major boxing event presented by ALA Promotions and ABS-CBN Sports . The boxing extravaganza is scheduled on Saturday, July 30 at the fully-air conditioned Hoops Dome in Lapu-Lapu City.
Main event is between world ranked Filipino pugilist AJ “Bazooka” Banal (24-1-1, 19 Kos) and Canadian Bantamweight belt holder Tyson “the Prince” Cave (15-1, 5 Kos). The top supporting events will feature Michael “Bruce Lee” Domingo and Lorenzo Villanueva battling tough Indonesian fighters in Richard Samosir and Eddy Camaro.
The other bouts will be Eusebio Baluarte vs. Romeo Jakosalem, Albert Pagara against Jaime Alin, Jomar Cordinillo vs. Jonathan Refugio, Jojo Intor vs. Cris Leon, and Ryan Maano battling Yoshinubo Ara

Well, ALA Promotions has been active for years. GMA 7′s boxing show has many boxers from Cebu and Bohol as well as Mindanao.
